Mosaic itself as a medium is not limited to an architectural use, but has multiple
possible application in art, design and applied art.
Hence bespoke mosaic is offered on commission where traditional craft and art process are combined with contemporary materials to create distinctive objects.

MOSAIC PORTRAIT | PRIVATE COLLECTION, ITALY
Portrait realized using the direct technique using a Modern Andamento
(layout), where the tesserae are individually sized giving a vibrant textured surface.
Italian marbles, natural stones and Venetian glass materials were used.
MARIO DE LUIGI | PRIVATE COLLECTION, ITALY
This is a re-imagining of Mario de Luigi's panting through the use of contemporary mosaic technique using the direct method
to achieve a highly textured and vibrant surface.
Materials used include Smalti Venetian Glass, wires, nails and screws.
COFFEE TABLE TOP | SAN FRANCISCO
The image is based on a Roman Mosaic realized onto a table top for a
private commission.
The indirect technique was used the tesserae were hand cut with hammer and hardie in much the same way done during the Roman period. Materials used include marble and travertino.

HINGED LANDSCAPE PICTURE SCREEN | LONDON
A mosaic inspired by autumnal walks using the direct technique.
Materials used include river pebbles, snail shells and twigs and wooden frame.
